Resort
On the fantastic green and quiet island of Bohol you can find Magic Oceans Dive Resort. We are located on the east coast, in the town of Anda, far away from the busy touristic areas.
The resort is on the seaside surrounded by a jungle and a tropical fruit nursery. The whole area is lush green, with of course a lot of palm trees, hibiscus, jasmine and other tropical flowers.
We offer you everything you need to make your vacation at Magic Oceans the best: a relaxed massage; great cocktails and/or refreshing fresh fruit juices at the bar, the pool or beachfront; a big and fully equipped dive center; hidden relaxation areas at the seaside and a great restaurant with both local dishes and western style food. Bungalows
Inside your bungalow you’ll find modern native style furniture including a king size bed and a day bed which can be used as a sofa or an extra bed when needed. There is a closet that houses a safe for your valuables; a fully stocked mini bar and tea and coffee making facilities. The desk has good lighting so it is perfect for those that travel with camera gear or if you need to take five minutes to check in with work. The balconies are big yet cosy with bamboo seats and a towel rack and offer amazing views of sea and land. The energy saving air-conditioning is super-silent. Every bungalow has it own Wi-Fi router, hot water shower, soaps & shampoo and hair dryer.
Diving in Anda
Anda offers 17km/10 miles of diving pleasure with 28 dive sites plus a sandbank, Lamanok Island and several diving day trips, that gives you the opportunity to see the outstanding diversity of marine life and the vibrant colors of the corals. It’s very easy to become entranced and spend all day long diving. The incredible biodiversity puts Anda slowly on the map as a must-visit destination for diving enthusiasts. The options include muck diving, walls covered with healthy corals, sandy slopes, small caves, mangroves and sandy bottoms full of life. The marine life varies from XXS to XXL, Pygmy seahorses, Nudibranchs, schools of fish, a passing whale shark and even an occasional manta. The Bargibanti Pygmy Seahorse is the star of the waters in Anda, Bohol and can be found at several dive sites. With a max. length of only 1 inch, you’ll definitely need your macro lens for a perfect shot!
Dive Center
The heart of any dive resort is the dive center and ours is alive and pumping! Our dive center is just a few steps from the ocean and fully equipped with:
• Three Bauer Compressors with continues flow Enriched Air filling capabilities

• Individual hanging posts for all your dive gear
• Dedicated rinse tanks for all you dive gear and cameras

Daily Operations
Our dive team is ready to take you out diving everyday! Whether you’d like to go out with the boat or would like to have a guide on the house reef – they are always ready to show you the beautiful underwaterworld of Anda!
All our team members are local and certified – the captains are licensed and our dive guides are all PADI certified Dive Masters.
Our daily boat dive schedule is as follow:
8.30 AM – the boat leaves for 2 boat dives with the surface interval on board with coffee/tea/water and fruit snacks.
2:00 PM – the boat leaves for 1 afternoon dive, when everybody has finished their lunch.
6:00 PM – the boat leaves for a night dive (upon request).
Our Bangka Boats
The boats we use at Magic Oceans are traditional Filipino boats known as ‘Bangka Boats’. They are long and narrow with bamboo outriggers to stabilize them in the ocean. This makes them very stable and a great platform to dive from.
We have three Bangkas in total, all with the same design, but they are slightly different in size. Magic Oceans 1 is the largest and can fit up to 16 divers on board plus the crew, then there is Magic Oceans 2 which can fit up to 8 divers and finally Magic Oceans 3 with space for 14 divers. Each Bangka has a crew of 2 and at least 1 Divemaster to make sure your journeys to and from the dive sites are as memorable as the dives themselves. We try not to exceed 4 divers on 1 dive master for the best diving experience!
Magic Oceans 1 & 3 come fully equipped with a dry area and an enclosed toilet. All three of the boats offer refreshments between dives such as tea, coffee, water and fresh local fruit. For those hardcore or budding photographers amongst you there are also freshwater rinse tanks onboard all three boats. The boats are handled by our experienced Captains and their crews – who are always on hand to assist you when kitting up, entering or exiting the water!
Restaurant & Bar
The restaurant offers a wide range of Filipino dishes as well as other Asian and Western style food, there are choices to suit all tastes. One thing is for sure, all the dishes are made with fresh ingredients and love. We offer half board and full board, but ordering á-la-carte is of course possible. Do you have any allergies? Or are you vegan, vegetarian or pescatarian? No problem – just let us know!
Our bar is the central place at the resort and is the perfect place to relax after a day of amazing diving. Our bartenders Esther and Ian are always ready to prepare you a delicious mocktail, cocktail, fruit juice or any other refreshing drink. A great place to sit, make friends and tell stories of your past adventures.
Spa & Wellness
Our brand-new spa offers you the perfect way to relax between or after the dives. Treat yourself with one of our massages, get a mani-/pedicure or follow a yoga course by a professional. Our brand-new Mahika-spa is the perfect place to relax your body. If you’re not a diver, our spa offers you a great way to enjoy your holiday with us!

REEF SAFE SUNSCREEN
Some sunscreen ingredients are not safe for corals; these include oxybenzone. Research indicates that these chemicals can cause DNA damage to corals, promote viruses in corals, and contribute to the bleaching of corals.
