Formerly a 52-meter (171ft) steel-hulled merchant vessel, the MV Solitude One has maintained unwavering standards in liveaboard hospitality and service. Following an internal refresh in 2023, the vessel epitomizes heightened comfort and design. Customised for our guests, it flawlessly integrates intelligent design and functionality, curating a welcoming ambiance with discreet elements of indulgence. Our attentive staff, skilled in personalised service, addresses guests by name, intuitively understanding their distinct needs for an exclusive “home away from home” setting.
COMFORT AT SEA
Solitude One offers ample spaces aboard for guests to discover their own serene moments. Relax on the expansive sun-deck, cool off in the bow-side jacuzzi, or unwind in our open-air dining area. The stern, home to the dive deck, provides another retreat.
Indoors, our air-conditioned saloon boasts a 55″ TV with a vast library of movies and series. Enjoy complimentary soft drinks from one fridge, and alcoholic beverages from another post-dive. For a caffeine fix, our coffee machine and hot & cold water dispenser are readily available. Additionally, the attached camera room allows for camera adjustments or editing sessions in a comfortable setting.
DINING EXPERIENCE
Indulging in delicious meals is a vital part of a memorable holiday, and aboard Solitude One, we take care of your culinary experience. Savor a total of 5 meals daily: from a light breakfast to a substantial one, followed by lunch, afternoon cooked snacks, and a fulfilling dinner. Additionally, complimentary biscuits and instant noodles are available round-the-clock.
Our major meals are served buffet-style, ensuring a variety of warm options through under-tray heating, so you can enjoy your meal without worrying about it getting cold. With multiple choices available, you have the freedom to select your preferred dishes at each sitting.
SCUBA DIVING
The Philippines is globally esteemed for its exceptional travel and diving opportunities, attributed to its remarkable biodiversity. From the mesmerising Whale Sharks in Tubbataha, the majestic Thresher Sharks in Malapascua, to the exceptionally rare Melibe colemani in Romblon – the country caters to divers of all skill levels with its rich variety of marine life.
Solitude One Tubbataha Itinerary: 7 days & 6 nights on the Sulu Sea
Day 1: Embarkation Puerto Princesa.
Days 2 – 5: North and South Atoll – gives the opportunity of a possible 3 or 4 dives each day.
Day 6: Jessie Beazley Reef – gives the opportunity of a possible 2 dives.
Day 7: Disembarkation Puerto Princesa
THE DIVING
Dive Guides ratio 1 to 6 divers. Private guide service is available for USD150 per diving day.
Dive Equipment Rental is available, which includes dive computers, but underwater cameras are not included.
Nautilus Lifeline MARINE Rescue is complimentary Nautilus Lifeline Marine Rescue GPS. Please Note, that if you use the Device, you are responsible for replacing it if lost ordamaged.
Surface Marker Buoy (SMB), Lead Weights & Belt are complimentary but responsible to replace if lost or damaged
Enriched Air Nitrox Diving EANx 30 to 32%, to provide a more suitable M.O.D for divers
Scuba Cylinders aluminum 100 cu.ft. (19 units), 80 cu.ft. (79 units), 63 cu.ft. (4 units), 40 cu.ft. (6 units) and 19 cu.ft. (2 units) with DIN Valves (York Adaptors available). Twin tanks are not available, side-mount friendly.
FOR YOUR SAFETY
NO SOLO diving is allowed, even if you are certified.
It is mandatory for ALL guests engaging in scuba activities to have an audible signalling device (such as a whistle), a dive computer, a surface marker buoy, appropriate dive insurance coverage, a valid dive certification, and have completed waiver Form A, and Form C for the activities.
Solitude One Dive Package includes:
- 6 nights aboard Solitude One in cabin/stateroom selected, double occupancy
- Individual a/c with climate control
- Safe deposit box
- Ensuite Bathroom
- Full Board (3 meals daily, plus afternoon snacks)
- Housekeeping - cabins/staterooms cleaned daily, sheets and towels changed every 3 days

REEF SAFE SUNSCREEN
Some sunscreen ingredients are not safe for corals; these include oxybenzone. Research indicates that these chemicals can cause DNA damage to corals, promote viruses in corals, and contribute to the bleaching of corals. So that we can help protect our reefs, we encourage our guests to choose and use a sunscreen that is “coral safe”.
