ABOUT ALDORA DIVERS
Since 1995, Aldora Divers has been providing the best experience and best service anywhere while diving the beautiful and diverse reefs of Cozumel. They use high-capacity steel tanks, which provides 50% more air, and computer aided multi-level dives. Average bottom time is 70 minutes, which is almost double the island standard. In addition to the extra dive time, their boats depart at 7:30 am which allows arrival at far south, north or east dive sites, long before the crowds arrive. They also have small, fast boats with small group size of 6 divers per boat. Divers are separated by experience so you'll always dive with other divers of similar experience.
Special Operations
Since 2002, our Aldora Special Operations division began exploring other areas of Cozumel that had yet been unexplored, to offer unique dive experiences to their divers. These dive sites include the windward eastern side of the island as well as dive sites to the north of Cozumel.
One of our greatest Aldora Adventures is the "Cave of the Sleeping Sharks" where you can see Caribbean Reef Sharks sleeping in a partial catatonic state.

Why join this trip?
There are many dive trips to great dive resorts, and I offer these trips as well, but after you've done Cozumel 3 or 4 times, why not explore the unique, quality experiences beyond resort diving? There are so many things to see and do, especially under the sea, in Cozumel.
Aldora dives in the far south, to Maracaibo, to the north to Eagle Ray Wall, or the "Cave of the Sleeping Sharks", and they are the only ones on the island that offers dives on the east side of Cozumel. None of these dives are guaranteed, it is all weather dependent, but we will request the most diverse diving experience they can offer us.
This trip is open primarily to 7 divers, or 6 divers plus me, for advanced diving, in fast boats. If we get 10-12 divers, each person is welcome, but for the first 7 divers that are advanced divers, we will be in one boat, then the others will be in another boat, with other dive guests. Or, we could all be in their big boat, when the conditions only allow standard diving opportunities. How will diving skills be evaluated; there are no hard and fast rules, you simply should have very strong skills in the water, with a lot of experience.

Passport requirement – must have 6 months remaining until expiration date upon return to USA.

REEF SAFE SUNSCREEN
Some sunscreen ingredients are not safe for corals; these include oxybenzone. Research indicates that these chemicals can cause DNA damage to corals, promote viruses in corals, and contribute to the bleaching of corals.
